
pSemi’s PE42548 SP4T RF switch allows faster assembly in test and measurement, 5G, mmWave, and SATCOM applications up to 30 GHz. Housed in a 20-lead, 3×3-mm LGA package, the switch provides an alternative to conventional flip-chip devices. According to the company, it offers contract manufacturers a streamlined, turnkey solution that simplifies the assembly process.
The PE42548 is a reflective switch that covers a wideband frequency range of 9 kHz to 30 GHz. Based on the company’s HaRP and UltraCMOS technologies, the switch offers low insertion loss of 2.0 dB at 26 GHz, a fast switching time of 60 ns, power handling capability of 33 dBm, and isolation performance of 41 dB. It also operates efficiently in extreme environments, with a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
